Water for Kummariputtu
Kummariputtu village has two wells and a bore well. One well is situated in the middle of the village while the other one is at the extreme end of the village. The bore-well that is available belongs to the Anganawadi and provides less yield. The population being high in this village, all these sources are still insufficient for the needs of the villagers. In rainy season, the spring water gets contaminated with agricultural effluents. So the Kummariputtu villagers approached VJNNS and provided the details of the spring located at a distance of 1600 meters elevation at source which has a good yield.
