Water for Musiri
Musiri village has two bore wells, a well and a spring box. One borewell is contaminated and the other belongs to the school. Well dries up in summer, it gets contaminated during the rainy season. The spring box is in the midst of the agricultural fields and gets contaminated with agricultural effluents apart from being far from the village. The community leaders approached VJNNS and provided the details of the spring located at a distance of 1750 mtrs elevation at source which has a good yield. The request of the community is genuine and recommended for the Gravity Fed Water Supply System is an appropriate solution to solve the drinking problem of the village for the present and future generations.
